The Access Center at University Behavioral HealthCare (through UBHC) was established in 1995 to serve as a single entry point to support a statewide behavioral health services system.

Offering services 24 hours a day/7 days a week, the Access Center is staffed by a professional team of clinicians and admitting specialists, who respond to a broad range of situations from just answering a call to complex triage for any call.

This state-of-the-art center currently receives about 1000 calls per day, from 16 different and unique phone lines. These represent a single point of access for our programs as well as collaborations with state agencies, crisis lines, specialty programs, peer support lines and other organizations.
