Adult Acute Day Hospital
The Adult Acute Day Hospital (AADH) provides psychiatric services
to adults who are able to return to the community but continue

Who are the people who will be treating me?
Your treatment team will be composed of a psychiatrist and/or nurse
practitioner, clinician, registered nurse, activities therapist
and mental health specialist.
What types of therapy will I receive?
You will participate in a variety of therapies as recommended
by your treatment team, which may include any of the following:
- Community Meetings
- Group therapy
- Individual therapy
- Creative Arts therapy
- Life Skills
- Medication education
- Recreation
- Exercise groups
- Special events
- And others
In addition, medication is often recommended as part of your
therapy. Your psychiatrist or nurse practitioner will consult
with you regarding their specific treatment recommendations.
