Specialized Addiction Services
SERVICE
This is an outpatient substance abuse treatment service serving
Middlesex County. Consisting of a number of specialized programs,
we offer individual, group and family counseling for individuals
and their families with substance abuse disorders. Special needs
such as co-occurring disorders, HIV/AIDS, developmental and physical
disability, are treated within an individualized treatment approach
with case management support where needed. Additionally, there
is a women’s program designed especially to address their
unique needs in the recovery process. Working closely with an
Addiction Psychiatrist, patients in need will be evaluated and
followed up for medication monitoring where indicated. Each individual
is evaluated at intake and assigned to the appropriate level of
care including individual, group, IOP and aftercare. Those in
need of a higher level of care are assisted with referrals to
the proper treatment facility in the community. Patients from
Middlesex and/or have Medicaid can be assisted with transportation.
