Psychiatric Consultation to Juvenile Justice Community Residences

SERVICE

This service is provided through a contract with the New Jersey Juvenile Justice Commission. Youth who are currently in community based residences through the JJC are seen for psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring as needed. Currently, services are being provided in the Newark Community Residence and in Green Community Residence (located in Ringwood). The staff psychiatrist also consults with the staff of those residences about the behavioral health needs of the youth involved.

ADMISSION

Youngsters are referred for these services by the staff of the community residences.
