Acute Child Intensive Outpatient Program
The Latency Afternoon Hospital Program (Acute Child IOP) provides
psychiatric services to children ages 6-11, who are able to return
to the community but continue to require significant clinical

What is the Acute Child IOP Program?
As part of a range of services, the Acute Child Intensive Outpatient
Program (Acute Child IOP) allows children to participate in treatment
after school and return to their homes at night.
What types of therapy will I receive?
You will participate in a variety of therapies as recommended
by your treatment team, which may include any of the following:

| Individual Therapy |
| Creative Arts Therapy |
| Medication Education |
| Activities Therapy |
| Family Therapy |
In addition, medication is often recommended as part of your
therapy. Your psychiatrist will consult with you regarding their
specific treatment recommendations.
