“Cultural Rounds in Mental Health”
Clínica Latina organizes
“Cultural Rounds in Mental Health.” This monthly conference
follows a format of a clinical case conference focusing on clinical
issues and mental health services to multicultural populations.
An expert discussant is invited to highlight the positive outcomes
and teach about culturally sensitive mental health services. This
conference provides education on cultural competent treatment of
interest to all UMDNJ-UBHC clinical staff and to the entire community
of mental health clinicians in the area. “Cultural Rounds
in Mental Health” is announced in our website and by electronic
reminders to appropriate health agencies in the area. This important
educational program is opened to the mental health community at
no charge.
