The COPSA Outreach/Case Management Program has served the mental health needs of the elderly in Middlesex County since 1973.  It is funded through a generous grant from the Middlesex County Office on Aging.

Our case managers work with older adults who may otherwise not be able to access mental health services and have special training in geriatrics and extensive knowledge of community resources.

The Outreach/Case Management program offers home visits and works with family members, neighbors and other formal and informal support networks. Working closely with the family and the client, we can assist with:

• Negotiating entitlement programs on behalf of the client
• Consultations with geriatric psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and other mental health professionals
• Adult children and spouses who need guidance through the maze of services and resources available

Referrals are accepted from doctors, nurses, social workers and personnel from senior centers and nutrition sites, as well as anyone concerned about an older adult.
