Dementia Day Care Program
University Behavioral HealthCare’s Dementia Day Care
Program provides a structured program of therapeutic activities
for older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementing
illnesses. The goals of the program are to promote the cognitive,
emotional, and physical functioning of the participant and to
provide respite and support to caregivers. Ongoing psychiatric
and nursing care are provided as needed. The Dementia Day Care
Program is a member of the New Jersey Adult Day Services Association
and is a participating provider for day care services under various
State and local financial assistance programs.
The Dementia Day Care Program’s hours are Monday
through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Please call 732-235-2856 or
