Dementia Diagnostic and Management Clinics
University Behavioral HealthCares Dementia Diagnostic
Clinic offers state-of-the-art diagnostic assessment and treatment
services for New Jersey residents with memory loss and other cognitive
impairments. All patients are evaluated by a multidisciplinary
team which includes Board-certified geriatric psychiatrists, neuropsychologists,
gerontological nurses, and geriatric social workers. The Dementia
Management Clinic provides ongoing pharmacologic management
for persons diagnosed with Alzheimers disease, vascular
dementia, and other dementing illnesses. Counseling around behavioral
management problems, referrals to community resources, education
about dementia, and help with future planning is provided to patients,
their families, and professional caregivers by UBHCs staff
of geriatric psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and social
workers.
The Dementia Diagnostic and Management Clinics hours
are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Please call the
