ANCILLARY SERVICES INCLUDE:

The division also includes the following clinical support services:

• The Clinical Laboratory provides assays of blood, urine and other clinical specimens to provide the staff physicians with the full array of clinical tests needed both for contemporary psychiatric practice and to deal with any ancillary medical problems in their patients. Certain tests that are done infrequently or require specialized equipment are referred out to a private laboratory.
• The Pharmacy maintains an up-to-date formulary for all psychotropic and general medical drugs required to provide comprehensive care for inpatients and outpatients. Medications are stored securely and dispensed in accordance with physicians’ orders.
