| What is it? The Family Wellness Program,
funded by a September 11th recovery grant from the American Red
Cross Liberty Disaster Relief Fund, offers NJ families affected
by September 11th free, confidential, home based services. Services,
provided by skilled Clinicians and Advanced Mentors, assist families
with the challenges they are facing now - five years later. Services
will be offered through December 2006. Participation is limited
to fifty families in Essex, Hudson, Passaic, Union, Somerset,
Middlesex and Monmouth Counties.
Who is eligible?
Services are offered to any child and/or family member living
in Essex, Hudson, Passaic, Union, Somerset, Middlesex and Monmouth
County that was indirectly or directly impacted by September 11th
including:
- Children/Families of first responders
- Children/Families of survivors
- Children/Families who lost a loved friend or relative
- Children/Families that were negatively impacted by September
11th
